Hello everyone!
In this wet and windy climate we can capture the essence of Nova Scotia's seasonal changes in art and photography. The high contrasts make for great imaging outputs to use for our image transfers.

With that thought, our last demo, Image Transferring, was a huge success and tons of fun. The techniques in transferring create innumerable finished works. The papers and canvas you can choose from in the store also give each image a unique completion. Stop in and pick up the matte medium, brushes, beautiful papers paper and a quick over view (if you need it) and try it out.

Many more thanks go out to Roy Thornhill again for his expertise on art products and making the Image Transfer Demo a night worth venturing out into the rain and wind.

In February, we were pleased to be able to exhibit three of Rebecca Fisk awesome paintings in the window for Black History Month. Thank you Rebecca.

Currently, we have a wonderfully vibrant painting in our window by Valerie Nadeau. Visit the store and see her work.

Intro to DSLR Photography

The advanced automation of your camera will be explored, as well ad working with lenses and files. The workshop will take away much of the mystery of your camera, and begin to let you take control of your image making process.

Macro and Flower Photography
May 28-29 (Friday evening and all day Saturday)

This workshop provides an intro to macro photography with the focus on flowers. A number of different approaches wil be explained, demonstrated and explored. Sample equipment for each approach will be supplied.
